Interview with Padya!
Who is your BTS bias and why?
Jin. I am constantly amazed by how hard he works, alongside the way he separates his offstage persona from his onstage one. Healthy work-life balance goals!
What is your favorite form of creative expression these days?
Alongside writing creative nonfiction pieces, I’ve been teaching myself a lot of GIF-making skills. I think I’m hiding from social media more and trying to focus on things like writing and creating and I’m enjoying it a lot.
How has BTS influenced your relationship with your creativity/art practice?
I love, love the way BTS openly talks about their creative process. It’s inspired me to think about not just creative work but the thought process that goes into creating something from scratch. While writing or making something now, I try to take time and reflect on what inspired it, what the actual act of making it involved, who it’s intended for, etc. rather than just going for it.
If you could do any kind of creative project with one member of BTS, who would it be and what kind of project would you do?
I would probably want to curate a fashion line with V.
What has been your favorite part of being involved with Dream Glow? Favorite Dream Glow memory?
All of it wow, just to see the people resonate with what we do, and the way people seek out this community has been mind-blowing. Every time we have an event, I see how much people really utilize our resources and create such impactful work themselves. I feel like I always need to sit and reflect for hours and it’s like, “wow, we really did that.”
What are you looking forward to in this second year of Dream Glow?
Growing our community and continuing to collaborate with other ARMY.
What is one thing you would tell potential Dream Glow contributors and members of the Dream Glow community?
For contributors, you don’t know how happy your emails and submissions make us. Please never stop sending us your work. For members, I love you! Thank you for always going along with my crazy ideas <3
