    We kicked the fall season off with an ARMY social event to celebrate our growth and community as well as spread the word for our next Fall 2021 submission deadline.

    We hosted 30-minute individualized workshops to provide support, feedback, and guidance to anyone who was interested in submitting work to Dream Glow (or elsewhere).

    The June 2021 edition of Magic (Work)Shop featured ​​a series of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and visual art workshops. Our board members offered crash courses on the different genres and conducted workshops on helping our community members hone their skills in the various genres.

    Studio Serendipity

    March 6 & 7, 2021

    Studio Serendipity featured a two-day virtual studio time for ARMY to work creatively on writing and art prompts and share with other participants. Our community members joined us over Zoom and used our prompt bank to write or create visual art while we listened to BTS. At the end of the event, we had an optional sharing section which produced some incredible conversations.

    Glow Up Conference

    Glow Up: BTS and Professional Development was a three day series of panels where we hosted guest speakers across various disciplines talking about how BTS inspired them in their professional fields. We had guests with experience in visual art, psychology, physics, podcasting, religion and more. The event attracted over 150 registrants!

    August 14, 2020 @ Rhizome Connect

    Dream Glow editorial board members hosted the Magic (Work)Shop: Journaling and Creative Writing Masterclass panel at Rhizome Connect organized by the R3 journal. This masterclass on creative writing and pop culture non-fiction was intended for artistic fans writing at any level. In the first half of the masterclass, we shared writing prompts, talked about turning enthusiasm about BTS into artistic projects, and discussed journaling and getting started on your writing. In the second half of the masterclass, there was a creative writing workshop where we reviewed and discussed a poem.
