Guidelines

We’re looking to publish diverse work of high literary and artistic value. Please no fanfiction (as much as we love to read it and do take it seriously, the goal of Dream Glow Mag is to provide a platform for artistic work that would be the best fit in literary magazines and not on AO3). The work you send us can be either directly or loosely inspired by BTS’s artistic projects. We’re not necessarily looking for work that is about BTS. BTS moves and inspires all of us in different ways as artists.

We hope it does not need to be said, but we’re looking for work that is inclusive in every way. We will not print nor tolerate work that is racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, etc.

We do accept simultaneous submissions, but please let us know right away if your work is accepted for publication elsewhere. This is not an online publication. Our issues will appear in print. As such, your submitted work needs to be previously unpublished and that includes online platforms.

Poetry: please send us up to 5 poems at any one time. Any length of poem is acceptable, but we’re unlikely to publish poems over 200 lines.

Prose (Fiction, Creative Nonfiction): please send us up to 2 pieces at any one time. Word count guidelines: 1,000 - 1,500 words. We’re not looking for reviews, but for creative original work.

Visual Art: Please send us up to 3 art pieces at any one time. No fanart of the members, please. Please note that your art will be printed within 6 x 9 inches (vertical) or 12 x 9 inches (horizontal).

Photography: Please send us up to 3 art pieces at any one time. No fanart of the members, please. Please note that your art will be printed within 6 x 9 inches (vertical) or 12 x 9 inches (horizontal).

COPYRIGHT POLICY

Dream Glow Mag holds first publication rights for all printed works. If your work will be reprinted elsewhere, for example in a full-length book, we simply ask that credit is given to Dream Glow for first publication.
