Interview with Tracey!
Who is your BTS bias and why?
Seokjin - One of my friends got into BTS, showed me the Fire MV, and was like, “I think you’ll like him…” I never went back.
What is your favorite form of creative expression these days?
I use Figma for UX design. I also rely on the classic post-it note.
How has BTS influenced your relationship with your creativity/art practice?
To even do it at all, I suppose...
If you could do any kind of creative project with one member of BTS, who would it be and what kind of project would you do?
Honestly, I feel like everything that comes to mind has already been done. Maybe developing art therapy or guided meditation programming inspired by BTS’ music. I suppose I’d do this with Namjoon since my first thought was to do this with mono.
What has been your favorite part of being involved with Dream Glow? Favorite Dream Glow memory?
The first event I participated in as a board member was Studio Serendipity, and I was amazed by the art that folks created. It’s already so fulfilling to create an open space for creatives to make BTS-inspired poetry and art as a Dream Glow member. I can’t imagine how it would feel for the members themselves...
What are you looking forward to in this second year of Dream Glow?
Having fun, continuing to love BTS, and strategizing new ideas! :)
What is one thing you would tell potential Dream Glow contributors and members of the Dream Glow community?
Discovering Dream Glow was the first time I sought out BTS fans outside of my friend circle (and my first time seeking an online community for any fandom in YEARS). With the exception of my currently private Instagram account, my digital footprint in the BTS fandom was always very low for a variety of reasons, so I’ve really appreciated how respectful and welcoming everyone’s been.
